happy 4th birthday!

Today our sweet girl turned four. Oh the growing she has done this year. She is so far removed from the baby years, so not a toddler and well preschooler just doesn't seem to fit either. She's a little girl. Just really into dressing up, playing mommy, being a friend, learning, coloring and making things for others. She's curious and full of desire to...LIVE.
Campbell you tell great stories and funny jokes.
You sing and pray with all your might.
You are a friend to your brother and a great mommy to your dolls and animals.
You love so much and well have a sassy side too.
Campbell we have been blessed since the moment you entered our life.
We are truly delighted to see you grow and can not wait to see what this year brings.

Last day being Three!

So today was Campbell's last day being three. When she wakes up in the morning she will be a big F-O-U-R year old!!! I can hardly believe it. Well this is her today doing some "cutting" with her scissors. Something she has mastered during year three. I loved this year bunny boo! XO, mama bunny.

So I am going to show you how to cut.

First you place paper into scissors

Really Mommy, I can teach this.

Then you "go for it"....it helps if you laugh.

Whew! Cutting is hard work.

A little get away led to lots of fun firsts.

First get away since surgeries.

First time to the beach.

First Sandcastles.

First dips in the ocean.

First sea shell explorations.

and possibly First known ingested parasite....testing underway.

We did however have a great time.

Before and after and something the same.

Travis has always had wavy hair. I have always kept it kinda surf style.
But it was getting a little long and had been a while since his last cut.
So I told the lady, "let's go a little shorter than normal."

Well....I got a bit shorter. Maybe too short for my liking.

The something the same....same wake up face after nap time.

A parade...

A parade can leave you feeling worn out and hot!

But making it to the end....can be SO rewarding....otter pop style!

fireworks were booming that night and I expect them to go on for days.)

blogging break and look it's a HUGE Initials, Inc sale.

I have been a sort of blogging break but I am pretty sure I am back.
I have been busy. Busy recovering. Trying to stay hydrated in the summer time. Chasing around my little ones and loving every minute of it. Missing my hubby when he's gone as his job has him traveling quite a bit. I must say that most of my blogging break came from a bit of depression. I had my mom here for six months. She was here while I had my surgeries and basically took care of our family. I miss her so very much. My little ones were really sad to see her go. In fact Travis was heard on the potty saying "my nana left me, my nana left me." He than went back to reading his Thomas book...guess he just needed to get that off his chest. Poor little guy! He sure loves his Nana! Campbell keeps asking when she will come back or when we can go to Arizona. I think having my mom here was a huge impact on their little lives. I love you mom! I love you dad who really lived with out my mom for 6 months. He hasn't had to do that since he was deployed years and years ago. What a trooper.

Well I look forward to getting back to sharing all about the in's and out's of the clubhouse.
